The second chakra is associated with creativity and procreation. It also influences emotional and sensual aspects of our lives.

  My life has been profoundly affected by chakra energy.

Here is what happened....

It began with garnets -

I had never especially liked garnets, even though they are my birthstone.

About a year ago I found myself attracted to garnets. Why? I don't know.

The attraction grew to desire. and the desire became irresistable. Garnet acquisition commenced.

Garnets became my constant companions....rings, pendants, crystals. They comforted me, soothed me, grounded me.

 

 Then there was a dark time for my soul. There were losses and the ensuing grief. I felt so tired all the time, listless, no energy,

 

One day as I was driving home I was overcome with the feeling that I needed something...but I didn't know what! Going with that feeling I found myself at the flower shop  - buying plants with orange flowers, a cute little orange flower pot, live plants, orange silk flowers.

    I brought them home and put them up by the window where the morning sun shines. My friends were so amazed with the transformation in my home and in me. I told them, "Life has returned."

 

Sometimes I wonder....

Will yellow be next?

  • Come from love every moment you can.
  • Speak of love with others,
  • Remind each other of your spiritual purpose.
  • Never give up hope.
  • Know that you are loved.

Seventh Chakra

Sahasrara is positioned above the head or at the top of it and it has 1000 petals which are arranged in 20 layers each of them with 50 petals. Sahasrara chakra symbolizes detachment from illusion; an essential element in obtaining supramental higher consciousness of the truth that one is all and all is one.

Often referred as thousand-petaled lotus, it is said to be the most subtle chakra in the system, relating to pure consciousness, and it is from this chakra that all the other chakras emanate. When a yogi is able to raise his or her kundalini, energy of consciousness, up to this point, the state of samadhi, or union with God, is experienced.

Amethyst is the premier spiritual stone, providing purifying, healing, and protective energies to help clear, open, and balance the Crown Chakra. Amethyst connects the physical plane with the higher realms, pulling the high frequency vibrations into the Crown Chakra, through the Third-Eye, for processing by the rest of the chakras. Many work with Amethyst for it's protective bubble of light that is activated when one holds or wears this stone. Working with Amethyst to clear the Crown Chakra can create a sense of completeness and belonging.
